Dear Parents of Students and Volunteers at the Basilica School,
One of the most important components of my job as principal of the Basilica School is to ensure that every child is safe. As required by the Archdiocese of Miami and mandated by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops Protecting God’s Children Program, we are asking that you cooperate with the following steps:
- Complete a Volunteer Application (with references and a copy of a government issued ID)
- Turn in a Signed Code of Conduct
- Turn in a Signed Volunteer Participation Agreement and Release form (new 2012-2013)
- Complete Virtus Class and turn in Documentation of Attendance of Virtus Training
- Complete Fingerprinting Process (date will be upcoming)
We are off to a great start in getting this accomplished, but must continue our efforts. Please be assured that all information collected is kept confidential and secure. The areas checked below indicate missing classes or documents.

The last Virtus Training of the year will be Tuesday, November 13m 2012 at 6:00 pm. in the school library. Fingerprint appointments will be set up for a later date.
