Open Enrollment: 2026–2027 School Year
Open enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year will be handled slightly differently this year.
Enrollment for new families will open on February 17, 2026, through Gradelink.

New Student Enrollment Lottery
The New Enrollment Lottery is scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
Only families who have submitted all required documentation in Gradelink by March 16, 2026, will be eligible to participate in the lottery.
The lottery will be tiered and/or pooled into priority groups, with preference given in the following order, as applicable: faculty and staff families, siblings of currently enrolled students, military families, and other priority categories, in accordance with school policy and available capacity.

High School Admissions Requirements: Basilica 8th Grade Graduates
(Beginning Spring 2026)
Graduating 8th-grade students from The Basilica School must meet the following criteria:

Academic Standing: Minimum weighted GPA of 2.8 for 8th grade

Testing: Completion of the High School Placement Test (HSPT)

Essay: Submission of the required admissions essay
High School Admissions Requirements: Non-Basilica Rising 9th Grade Applicants
Students applying to 9th grade from outside The Basilica School must meet the following requirements:

Academic Standing: Minimum weighted GPA of 2.8
-
Disciplinary Record: Satisfactory record with no significant behavioral infractions
(Defined as any action resulting in school suspension or criminal legal action) -
Testing & Essay: Completion of the HSPT and submission of the required admissions essay
Transfer Students (Grades 10–12)
Transfer students must meet the following requirements:
- Academic Standing: Minimum weighted GPA of 2.8 on current high school transcript
- Graduation Timeline: Must be on track to graduate by meeting both state graduation requirements and Basilica High School credit requirements
- Community Service Hours (completed prior to enrollment):
- Grade 10: 20 hours
- Grade 11: 40 hours
- Grade 12: 60 hours
- Disciplinary Record: Satisfactory record with no significant behavioral infractions
- Testing & Essay: Completion of the HSPT and submission of the required admissions essay
Additional Standard Requirements Basilica High School
Transfer students must meet the following requirements:

Application & Essay: Completed application and required admissions essay

Entrance Interview: Meeting with school administration to assess alignment with Basilica High School’s mission and values

This requirement may be satisfied by attending the Spring 2026 Parent Meeting

Teacher Recommendations (High School):

Two letters of recommendation from current teachers or school administrators

Must be submitted on official school letterhead

(Required for non-Basilica transfer students only)
