On October 11th, our PK3 and PK4 students visited the Pumpkin Patch for games, crafts, story time and, of course, foraging for pumpkins. Pumpkin Patch proceeds go to benefit the MARC House.
The Elementary School’s Student Government Association is hosting a movie night for students in grades 1st through 5th. The movie night will be held in the library and there is a suggested donation of $5 to cover the cost of snacks, pizza and drinks for the movie goers. The movie will begin at 6:30pm and should conclude around 9:00pm.
This Halloween, we have a fun day scheduled for the students of The Basilica School. At 8:30, following our Morning Prayer students will parade along a “Trail of Treats” visiting the parish rectory and gift shop before arriving at our 2nd annual Trick or Trunk. Parents are invited to decorate their vehicles and distribute Halloween goodies to our students.All students are invited to dress in costume that day. Following the Trail of Treats, our older students will be hosting various activities and games for the students in grades PK3-3rd. It is sure to be a spooking good time.
Beginning this week, the school’s new digital visitor management system will be operational. School Gate Guardian will allow us log and track visitors, volunteer hours, and student tardy and early withdrawal times. In addition, the system also includes several safety features including instantaneous offender checks on visitors and a mass alert feature.
