Speech Therapy: We will begin screening students in the coming weeks. Speech therapy will be available weekly at TBS beginning this September.
Computer Lab: We have 28 new Gateway All In One PCs with the latest operating system and software. We will put this lab to good use this year with our new “Technology Tuesday” program, our Spanish Virtual Learning Lab and our Accelerated Reading and Math program.
Construction: A new covered walkway and sidewalk will be constructed in the coming weeks connecting the classroom building to the gymnasium/cafeteria. This walkway will help shelter our students as they walk to and from the buildings. The walkway will also allow us to move our rainy day dismissal to the cafeteria.
Beyond the Bell: We have rebranded our aftercare program. If you have not registered, please take the time to do so this week. The BTB tutoring program is up and running. An additional tutor has been added so students can be divided by age for additional help.
Renaissance Learning: We have begun our diagnostic testing with STAR Enterprise and are preparing for our first year with Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Math. TBS is grateful for the Amaturo Foundation and their generous gift that has allowed us to purchase this program this school year.
