Oktoberfest is just days away! Dust off your lederhosen and start practicing your chicken dance for the 2014 Southernmost Oktoberfest happening on Saturday, October 4th from 4:00-9:00pm. The festivities will take place in the front circle of the school (700 Truman Ave) rain or shine. Entrance is free. There will be traditional German food and drink for sale, along with first class live entertainment. Food and beverages start at just $4.Children can enjoy the music, free face painting and a special children’s menu. There will also be prizes awarded in the mens’, womens’ and childrens’ best German costume contest. Although costumes are encouraged, they are not required. There is fun to be had by all.
