Dear Parents/Guardians,
On behalf of our faculty and staff, I would like to welcome you to The Basilica School of Saint Mary Star of the Sea.
Our new academic year will begin on Wednesday, August 16th. Orientation for the 2017-2018 school year will be on Monday, August 14th. There are three scheduled orientations to choose from: 12:00pm, 3:30pm or 5:30pm. Orientation will begin in the Klaus Murphy Renewal Center. Access to the meeting space can be gained by entering through the Stations Garden. After opening remarks, students and parents will report to their classroom teacher(s).
Our goal during the orientation is to introduce new and returning students and parents to The Basilica School’s mission, philosophy, academic offerings, extra-curricular activities, and staff. This event is designed to provide information, answer questions and ensure a smooth transition into our new academic year.
As a reminder, a student is fully enrolled after your user account has been created and an agreement has been finalized through FACTS Tuition Management. All returning FACTS users will be transferred over to the 2017-2018 school year and charges applied. New families will need to create their FACTS account prior to orientation on August 14th. The staff and students of The Basilica School are eager to share their Mariner spirit with you and your student. The Basilica School has a proud history of educating the whole child – spirit, mind and body. We strive to provide our students with the necessary knowledge, character development, and intellectual skills to be successful in their academic career and beyond.

We are excited to announce a one-stop shopping option for Basilica School parents.
Please use the link below to find your child’s class supply list. You will have the option to purchase all items with one click – everything will arrive at your home before school begins. Or you may purchase only certain items you haven’t been able to find on the island. The school will receive 5% of all sales!
You are not obligated to use ClassBundl. You can shop as you normally would, of course.
